Sport Climbing

In Olympic Sport Climbing, athletes scale artificial rock walls using a variety of techniques. Athletes rely on strength, balance, and problem-solving skills whether they are racing head-to-head for speed, navigating increasingly complex routes up a 15m wall, or working to solve bouldering challenges across a 4.5m wall without rope.
Two competitive climbers ascend a vertical climbing wall during a sport climbing event. The climber on the left wears a red and white uniform with "Austria" printed on it. The climber on the right wears a blue and white uniform. Both of them are gripping red and black holds and are secured with harnesses and ropes. The wall features the "Tokyo 2020" logo prominently in the center.
