Softball

Softball, traditionally a female-only sport in the Olympic Games, is a variant of baseball played with a larger ball on a smaller field. Like Baseball, it involves two teams of players competing to score runs by hitting the ball with a bat and running around a diamond-shaped series of bases. The key difference lies in the pitching technique, with Softball pitchers delivering the ball underhand from a designated pitching circle. The game typically consists of seven innings, and teams alternate between batting and fielding.

The background shows a blue wall with large white numbers "2020." The player's face is turned upwards, focused on the ball, and her body is stretched out to make the catch.
