Shooting

In Olympic Sport Shooting, athletes use firearms to hit targets with precision. Target Shooting (Rifle and Pistol) involves shooting at the center of stationary targets from various distances and positions, while Shotgun Shooting challenges athletes to hit fast-moving clay targets in the air.

 

Rifle and Pistol events will take place in a purpose-built, temporary indoor range at the Convention Center in Long Beach, CA. Shotgun events will be held outdoors at the Shotgun Center in El Monte, CA.
